Position Overview
State Farm Insurance Agent located in Fuquay Varina, NC is seeking an outgoing, career-oriented professional to join their team. As a State Farm team member for Michael Haller State Farm, you will build and develop customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm products including auto, home and life insurance. I am looking for someone that has a desire to succeed and create a better life for themselves, experience is not required but a strong work ethic is. This position is for someone that will come in, learn the business and work their way up into customer service and sales. A pending promotion for one of my team members who is getting their own agency has me looking for someone to replace them when they get the call for their promotion. You will be required to take a sales/ service profile for this position.
Responsibilities
- Learn the systems while studying for your property and casualty licenses.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
- Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.

Requirements
- Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred, but not required
- Enthusiastic about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams
- Self-motivated
- Detail oriented
- Ability to make presentations to potential customers
- Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain)
- Life and Health license (must be able to obtain)
- Must be available to work the following schedule: M-F 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
